The International Au Pair Association is a global organization that sets quality and ethical standards for the au pair industry. Working with IAPA affiliated agencies helps ensure a safe, recommended, and professionally supervised au pair experience.

Aupairtrip started in Chicago, IL, when I was still an au pair and launched the Instagram account @aupairtrip. What began as a meme-based page quickly grew into a strong community, connecting girls in real life.
Messages kept coming in, girls looking for friends, support, and travel companions during their year abroad.
Later, Alexis joined the adventure, and together we turned this growing community into a dedicated platform.
Today, Aupairtrip is more than an app : a global community, a travel companion, and a trusted resource for au pairs and host families.
Our mission remains the same : help young people abroad feel less alone, better prepared, and truly supported, wherever they are in the world.
